I AM CONSCIOUS OF THE CURRENTS OF LIFE

And the prayer of faith shall save the sick and the Lord will raise him up – James 5: 15

When we say that our body is spiritual we are not denying our physical aspects. All that is physical is included within that which is spiritual. God has given us the gift of a physical body that is marvelously and wonderfully made, and which is very worthy of our attention. We can think of our body as a spiritual instrument, and every statement we make about our body, or belief that we hold about it, that accepts or acknowledges its spiritual perfection is heals and restores it in ways that we may not consciously understand.

My body is the temple of the Living Spirit. It is spiritual substance
as well as physical material. I remind myself that every part of my body lies within the restoring embrace of the Almighty. In every moment
of every day, the Spirit of God flows through every atom of my body, revitalizing, invigorating, and renewing every part of my physical being. I acknowledge the pattern of perfection from which my body has been fashioned, and this perfect pattern is operating constantly
through every organ, function, action, and reaction.
My body is forever renewed by the Spirit.

I am now, in this moment and in every moment, being re-made vigorous and whole. I possess the vitality of the Infinite, and I am being made stronger and weller. The Life-giving Spirit that is God is the Spirit that dwells at the center of that which I am. All of its strength and its power are my strength and power also. I accept that my whole being is renewed, invigorated, and made more alive. There is complete stillness and perfect peace at the center of my being as I wait on the Presence of God that makes all things perfect. Every breath I draw is the Breath of Life that builds up and strengthens every cell of my body. I am reborn from one moment to the next – from one perfect breath to the next.
I am of the Spirit, and in the Spirit.
The Spirit of God manifests itself in me as perfect health.

MEDITATIONS FROM THE INTERNET

Not Much In Between (Read Ephesians 3:14-21)

That you may be filled with all the fullness of God. – Ephesians 3:19

In the western panhandle of Texas is a small town named Texline. It had an glorious beginning in the late 1800s as a thriving center along a new railroad line. Within a few years, though, most of the shops had closed and the town’s population shriveled to about 400. In 2000, the population was still just over 500.

One online description of Texline says that it has “a city limits sign at one end, another at the other end, and not much in between.”

Could the same description could be given of our spiritual journey? The journey of the Christian life on earth begins at the moment of faith in Jesus, and ends when the believer goes to be with the Lord. This raises an important question: What happens in between?

A rich and full life is available to all who believe in and serve Jesus. The apostle Paul prayed that believers would “be filled with all the fullness of God” (Eph. 3:19). He wanted them to know life “abundantly” (John 10:10). But how many of us experience even a small part of the abundant life Christ promised to those who are faithful to Him?

God desires to give us a marvelous beginning with salvation and a great ending in Glory – with much in between. (Dave Egner)

Lord, thank You for all that You have done for me. I re-commit myself everyday to making the most of my spiritual journey. I want to experience as much as I can of You, and all You have to offer to me. Amen.

A life given fully to God becomes a God-filled life.

Today I uncover the perfection within me. In its fullness I reveal the indwelling kingdom. I look out upon the world of my affairs, knowing that the Spirit within me makes my way both immediate and easy. I know there is nothing in me that could possibly obstruct or withhold the Divine circuit of Life and Love, which Good is. My faith dissolves every negative thought or impulse that could throw a shadow over my perfection. Good flows through me to all. Good shines through my thoughts and actions. Good harmonizes my body so that it is revitalized and manifests perfection in every cell, organ and function. Good harmonizes my mind so that Love sings joyously in my heart. I am in complete unity with Good.
