Subject: Vocations Day at GTS - April 19, 2008

The Students of Color Association (SOCA) and the Office of Admissions is sponsoring Vocations Day on Saturday, April 19. 2008, 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM in Seabury Auditorium.

It is the mission of The General Theological Seminary to educate and form leaders for the church in a changing world. Because people of color are historically underrepresented in church-wide leadership positions, we take our charge seriously to seek out, to encourage, and to involve all of God’s people in their ministries.

It is hoped that through the work of Vocations Day, participants will leave the conference with a new understanding of their spiritual gifts.

Detailed information about the event is available on the GTS website:

http://www.gts.edu/socaevent.asp

Vocations Day poster:
